PBX Revisited

PBX Chart

Once upon a time there was a junior resource company operating in Chile called International PBX (TSX.V - PBX). The company was run (well, Chaired) by a grand old pappy of the resource sector named Len De Melt, a man of history as much as a man of metals. Sometime I’ll write a standalone piece on De Melt, but for now suffice to say that his career is as long and storied as any man could ever wish for, though still lacking that one major find, that Collahuasi or Escondida, giant open pits that produce hundreds of thousands of tonnes of copper annually.

PBX has had its share of downs on the market this year, and considering the size of the target on its Chilean projects, the amount of drilling carried out and the price of copper, moly and gold, it remains a solid bet. As well, the company has continued to redouble its marketing efforts (Katherine, have we called these guys for some advertising pesos?), with web updates and strong presence in resource publications and at trade shows.
